Who is escape scene appropriate for?
  • Escape Scene rooms are for anyone who loves a challenge and wants to have fun with family, friends, neighbors or coworkers. The goal is simple: accomplish your goal in 60 minutes using only your team’s thinking skills, deductive reasoning, and logic to solve the room’s mysteries, riddles, and puzzles. The room is filled with a series of cryptic clues and padlocks, so be sure to carefully look over everything in the room. Additional helpful clues will be presented when needed.

is it appropriate for kids?

is there an age limit?
  • players younger than 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.  There may be exceptions, contact us directly for more information. We also require that waivers be signed by a parent or guardian for all players under 18.  Children 6 and under are free. here is a PDF version that you can print out and send with your child if you won't be present.

Are your rooms accessible?
  • All of our rooms are accessible to standard sized wheelchairs.  Deadwood is the best choice as it is the largest room.  There are some particulars depending on the room you play so Please contact us for more information.

i am claustrophobic. will i be able to play?
  • Absolutely! our games are more heists than escapes, so there are no locks on the doors for precisely this reason. if you are nervous You can leave the room anytime you chose. we have had many claustrophobic players tell us to let other claustrophobic people know that our rooms are good for people with this concern.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions..


do you have live actors or scare factors?
  • No, There are no live actors in the game rooms, and no scare factors.  We do have a strobe light time travel effect at the beginning and ending of each game but that can be skipped if anyone is nervous about it.

Do I need any special skills or knowledge for the game?
  • The game is designed to test team working skills, creativity and “thinking outside the box”. It requires no special knowledge and has minimal physical effort.


Will I be playing with strangers?
  • only if you bring them with you! All of our games are private groups.

I have already tried one of the escape rooms; are there any differences between the other rooms? Is it worth trying out the other ones too?
  • Absolutely! We have actually designed these rooms as all part of a larger mystery.  You won't get all the fun unless you do each room.  Each theme contains very different puzzles.

How long does a game last?
  • For each room you will be given 60 minutes to escape. Please also arrive 15 minutes early for your mission briefing.

What payment methods do you accept?
  • We request all guests reserve their games and make payment online, but walk-ins will always be welcome, provided there are available spots. Major credit cards are accepted for payment.  If you need to pay with cash please bring exact change as we do not keep any cash on hand.

Can I bring more people along even though I already registered?

  • As long as the room can accommodate the extra players we'd be more than happy to add them to your game.  They can pay for their admission when you arrive at Escape Scene.

Is there a required group size per game?
  • Minimum group size for booking is 3, but You can play with only 2 players if you like.

  • The maximum team size for Deadwood is 8, for Cairo and Munich it is 6.

What is your cancellation policy?
  • We have a no Refund cancellation policy, but If you contact us at least 48 hours in advance we will be happy to reschedule your game, or provide you with a store credit.  we do not provide rescheduling or store credit for cancellations within 48 hours, due to our inability to refill the game slot.

Is There Parking?
  • There is Free 90-minute street parking surrounding escape scene.

  • There is also a parking garage 2 blocks east at 2825 Hoyt ave.

Is there anything I should bring with me?
  • You should wear comfortable clothes, and open toes shoes are allowed. The game requires a bit of reading, so bring your reading glasses if you need them. Also, don’t forget your thinking caps!
